Department of Research

In its strategic plan DU has envisaged to create a hub of research activity beneficial to the region. To achieve this, DU established a Department of Research (DR) that works under direct supervision of the Deputy Vice Chancellor. The research activities at DU are headed by the Department of Research supported by committees at University and College level and the TRC Research Focal Point. DR strives to create a favourable research environment within DU by encouraging, facilitating and promoting all research activities across the University. The Department works on three major principles i.e. engagement, innovation and impact.
